The hotel was clean and had fairly quiet and absolutely fantastic rooms. The stuff turned out to be amazingly nice. I got excellant breakfasts with fresh options and good pastries, for instance. The location turned out to be stunning, right by the restaurant or bar, the gardens, and the river-fabulous. It was a really amazing experience...

The hotel has particularly good location adjacent to a terraced garden and maybe a water feature, the restaurant and the Douro river. The service was fantastic, the breakfast was delicious and excellent. All of the staff members were affable and amicable.

Liked very very good and gorgeous breakfasts.
We had a king room with an individual safe, an air conditioning and a mini bar. Location: the hotel was near the river, picturesque Duoro valley and a restaurant.

The overall experience had some hiccups. The mud brown shag carpeting in the rooms and hallways leaves much to be desired, and the limited dining options can frustrate if the weather keeps you indoors. Most notably, the evening restaurant experience fell flat with overpriced meals and a nearly empty dining room on a supposed busy night.

The fresh seafood at the hotel restaurant is to die for-everything was bursting with flavor! Plus, the infinity pool offers fine views of the Douro River. Not to mention, the breakfast spread was excellent, loaded with fresh fruits and hot dishes every morning.
It's a stretch to call this a 5-star experience. The rooms had bugs under the bed, and I was a bit concerned when I saw the cleaning staff using our used face towels on the toilet seats. Beds were uncomfortable, and the food felt overpriced and bland.

Fine views and a chill vibe!
Wow, what a stay! The river view was nice, and I loved chilling at the infinity pool. The breakfast was great with loads of fresh options to pick from. Only thing was the Wi-Fi connection was a bit spotty at times, kinda annoying when you need to check stuff. Still, all in all, it was a fab getaway!

The Double Room with River View was really spacious and super comfy. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! The view of the Douro River was amazing-you could just sit and enjoy that all day. The room was clean and modern, and I loved having a coffee machine with daily Nespresso capsules right there. Only downside was some issues with soundproofing. You could hear noise from the hallway sometimes.
